TEE-BALL:
Ages 4-6 (Boys and Girls)
The PMYB Tee-Ball program is a great first instructional experience for both boys and girls. The emphasis is on teaching basic fundamentals while having FUN! The tee-ball program runs for 8 weeks on Saturday mornings from mid-April to mid-June. There are 4 practices and 4 games and is an excellent opportunity for your child to learn the fundamentals of baseball and be part of a team. Each practice and game will run for about 1 hour 30 minutes. All children will start by learning to hit off of the tee and then those who are ready, at the discretion of the coach, may progress to hitting coach pitch. Helmets, soft baseballs, and bats are all provided by the association, but players can bring their own equipment. The only requirement is that the child has a glove of his or her own. Cleats are not required. Teams will generally be school based when possible
BASEBALL PROGRAM:
All players in our baseball program are evaluated and placed at the level that is suitable for their individual skills. This helps to ensure a competitive and safe experience for all. We participate in the Lancaster County Youth Baseball League (LCYBL).
